They often address relationship patterns that are no longer serving the couple or improving communication and connection between the couple.

Overall, body psychotherapy couples sessions aim to help partners develop a deeper understanding of themselves & each other, improve their communication & connection, & work together to create a more satisfying & fulfilling relationship.

  • Workshops are a great way to experience Body Psychotherapy, whether for the first time or to explore different aspects of your self. Workshops are small group sessions designed to explore a theme, how it presents in your life, how it influences you, does it still serve you? And if not how to start to make a change. A group setting is a supportive way of connecting with ourselves and with others and developing new skills.

The Benefits of Body Psychotherapy

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life & you will call it fate”

— Carl Jung.

  • Decreased pain, muscle tension, discomfort, fatigue, digestive issues or other symptoms of chronic illness. This relief can help us feel ease with movement of the body.

  • Better connection to your body, increased awareness of who you are at your core, your deepest level of being. This helps you move towards what you want in life – a new job, a new relationship, more joy, a life with more purpose or meaning.

  • A more regulated nervous system & knowledge of how to self-regulate when needed. This leads to an increased feeling of safety & peace.

  • Long-lasting change as this work uses the latest neuroscience to rewire your brain for new behaviours, new experiences & new ways of living.

  • Greater sense of well-being and balance of physical, emotional and spiritual health (or faith).

  • Increased self-awareness – knowing how your past experiences affect your thoughts, behaviours, and feelings. This awareness can help you change your patterns that repeat and help you shift from feeling stuck. It can also lead to improve self-confidence and acceptance.

  • Feeling seen & heard. Feeling more fulfilled & happier, less anxious & depressed.
